Woody has served churches in Evansville, Rensselaer and most recently in Rochester Indiana. He became pastor in Flora in August 2009. Woody is married to Barbara, a 4th grade teacher in Rensselaer. They have a son who lives with his wife and two children in Chesterton, Indiana. Woody enjoys woodworking, reading, traveling and being with family. He occasionally chases a golf ball around the course and can often be found working in the garden. He is a University of Kentucky basketball fan as well.

Phyllis began her career as FFCC’s secretary in 1976 under Pastor Larry Kuntz and continues to “break in” new ministers. She is married to Jerry L., and they are the parents to two children and five grandchildren! She is a former FFCC choir director, a current Elder, active in CWF, and generally has the answers to your “where to I go” questions. She is an avid golfer and a “True Blue” Indianapolis Colts fan.
Jo Ann is senior staffer who united in membership at FFCC in 1944 and has served at our organist for sixty plus years. She and husband Jack recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. They are parents to a son, daughter, and one granddaughter, two step grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren. Jo Ann’s hobbies include knitting, reading, quilting, and music. She also serves as accompanist for the Carroll County Extension Chorus.
Dave is married to Julie, and they have the world’s most adorable baby boy. He has been directing at FFCC since 2001, and happily & readily welcomes new choir members. Dave is employed at Purdue’s University News Service (Go Boilers!)
Miriam has been leading various youth choirs for several years. She is married to David Pickens, and they are the parents to three teenagers. Miriam has children practice for special events throughout the year. She also directs the chancel choir in a contemporary song generally once a month.
Jennifer has been custodian at Flora First Christian for more than 14 years, and a member of the church for 30 years. She also has worked 30 years at the Carroll County Comet where she is a writer and photographer. She has two daughters and five grandchildren.
