Cantata “No More Night”

Held at Jubilee Fellowship, 687 E 50 N, Flora, Indiana.

Service 6:30 a.m., Breakfast 7:30 a.m. Everyone Welcome!

This Easter Sunrise service with cantata has been a Flora community gathering of praise to our risen Lord for thirty years. This year’s cantata is directed by Dave Kitchell and includes a vast range of musical praises lifting up the cross and Christ’s empty tomb. A community breakfast will follow in the Jubilee Church fellowship hall.

Pastor Sam started out with four fishers. He sent them out to catch some “fish”. Once those “fish” were caught, they became fishers, and went out to catch their own “fish”. Very quickly, a lot of “fish” were caught, and in turn, caught others. Pastor Sam reminded us that most folks come to church because a friend invited them. So go fishing for Jesus!

We had a wonderful service including Christmas hymns, special music, scripture reading, seeing the story of the birth of Jesus, communion, ending with everyone lighting a candle. It was a beautiful and moving way to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
