More than 175 ideas were generated at the Dream Session held September 18, 2011.

You still have time to share a thought or a dream. Just jot it down and give it to any elder or to Pastor Woody.

A full report to the congregation will be ready near the end of october.

This oil painting was painted by Pauline Voorhees Eikenberry in 1922 and restored by her in 1952 following a fire. We need your input as to where to hang it, as it was displaced by one of our new projection screens.

Please let Arlene or Pastor Woody know where you think the painting should be placed.

Every two years, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) meets for its General Assembly. To be held in Nashville, TN July 9 – 13, the theme for this year’s assembly is “TELL IT.”

The assembly will include several workshops that will help  people to use their voice to “tell the story.” There will be study sessions, great worship events, and much more.

If you are interested in attending the assembly as a representative from our church, please let Pastor Woody know.

Note 7-3-11: Pastor Woody will be attending the General Assembly. You can reach him by cell phone if there is an emergency.

The annual meeting of the congregation was held on Sunday, December 7, 2009 following the worship service.

• The proposed budget was accepted;
• A constitutional amendment separating the Evangelism and Membership committee into two separate committees was approved;
• A constitutional amendment regarding disbursement of designated bequests and undesignated bequest was approved;
• The proposed slate of officers were elected.
