Church History Project
Category: Church History, PhotosNext year, we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of our church building. The cornerstone was laid June 18, 1914; and the building dedicated November 29, 1914.
Please join us on a treasure hunt for information.
Photos wanted: group photos, photos of activities, etc. I’ll scan them and return the originals to you. I want photos of any age, old or new. If you have digital photos of recent activities, I’ll be glad to receive them, you may e-mail them to bill@billsclockworks.com
History: I want all the input I can get from members about things that have happened in the church. Here are some things I would like to know:
Something funny that happened.
History tidbits (“Do you remember when . . . “ or “did you know that . . .” )
A change we made that was a big deal at the time but now is accepted.
Something that needs to be recorded in our church history.
What person deserves special recognition and why?
What controversy do you remember and how was it solved?
Who was a good role model?
Anything else you can think of.
You may write things down and give them to Bill Stoddard, Arlene Pifer or Pastor Woody. Or, please contact Bill at 967-4709 (day) or 967-4838 (evening) and I’ll be happy to talk with you.
Thanks!
Bill Stoddard, Historian
