Spirit Month in September

As fall creeps up on us, on a Friday night you can hear the cheers from the football field, “We’ve got spirit, yes we do! We’ve got spirit, how ’bout you?”
During the month of September 2010, the church is invited to join in as we explore the spirit of God in our lives, how God’s spirit touches the church, and what this spirit does for us on a daily basis.
There will be special Bible readings that all of us will be involved in. A Spirit breakfast will be held, and every member of the church will be invited to take a “spiritual gifts test” to find out what God has placed in our hearts as a special ability.
Our services on Sunday mornings will be spirit led, as always. You will learn more about this as the month of September gets closer, so prepare yourselves to be moved by the spirit of God!
