A Week of work, fellowship, study and surprises

The 2010 mission trip to Evansville takes place June 6 - 11 . . . and you are invited!

Please sign up on the bulletin board near the restrooms, or the sheet on the sound board no later than March 21. We need at least 6 people to make the trip successful.

The week will involve simple home repair, the possibility of our working with Habitat for Humanity, yard work, some times of fellowship, and a chance to get to know each other better.

Each work camp participant will need to have a sleeping bag (air mattresses suggested), and may need to bring some tools with them. We will plan on car pooling, and each day we will prepare our own meals on a rotating basis. Nightly shower facilities will be available. In the evenings we will try and plan some fun events like a minor league baseball game, bowling, movie or eating out at one of Evansville’s famous BBQ restaurants. We have invited the members of Bethany to join us so our group may be larger than the ones from Flora.

The estimated cost per person is $100 and that includes all the food and transportation costs.
