Each year pastors in our Christian Churches (Disciples of Christ) all over the country offer special classes to children and youth who are exploring their personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. As your pastors have done in the past, I, too, will be leading such a class prior to Easter. I call this six week class Christian Foundations.

This six week class gives youth considering baptism and life in Christ the opportunity to explore through scripture:

• Who is God?
• Jesus Christ,
• The Holy Spirit,
• What’s the purpose of my life?

These are just a few of the questions we will be exploring. The class will meet on Sundays from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. January 27 through March 2. Plans are being made for lunch to be provided.

Parents of youth planning to attend are asked to contact the church office at 967-4246 by January 18 so that adequate materials may be ordered.
